I have been immersed in the field of art, food and movement for over 15 years as an artist, nutritionist, and yoga teacher. My work in mental health and embodiment has evolved from my interest in how movement, food, and creative expression impact our wellbeing. I earned a Masters in Nutrition from the National University of Natural Medicine with a focus on metabolic medicine and holistic mental health. In addition to my clinical expertise in blood sugar dysregulation and metabolic disorders, I bring knowledge of polyvagal theory and subtle yoga to my work with bodies and their nervous systems. I completed my yoga training from The People’s Yoga in Portland, Oregon (2018), and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University (expected 2026). I have experience and a particular passion working with bigger bodies who have been marginalized in the health care system. In my free time I can be found feeding the birds and fermenting a variety of comestibles.
